**7E Math**Students are learning how to calculate the probability of two independent events. We have discussed Example 1 (p. 166) and Example 2 (p. 173).

They should try question 7 (p. 175) at home.

**7D math**Students are completing an in-class assignment on Simple Probability. This assignment will be due on Wednesday, Nov 22.

**8H Math**Students are learning how to divide fractions. Yesterday, they focused on dividing fractions by multiplying by the reciprocal. Today, they were introduced how to divide by using common denominators (video link: Dividing Fractions Using a Common Denominator).

Of the two methods, multiplying by the reciprocal is the most common and it is the one we will focus most of our practice on!

They should finish their class handout sheet tonight for HW. Note - this handout has them practicing the 2nd method (common denominator).

**9A Science**Students are working on a classification project (creating a dichotomous key for a set of buttons).

**9B Science**Students learning how to create a dichotomous key (for a group of sneakers).
