Grade 7 Math

Students have written their percent test today (calculator and non-calculator portion). They are encouraged to use IXL Math over the long weekend and practice the following skills: Percents, Decimals, and Cartesian Plane. They may also decide to check out what our next topic is all about (Probability).

Grade 8 Math

Students are learning how to multiply proper and improper fraction (mixed numbers). This is based from Section 6.3 and 6.4 in our math textbook. They are encouraged to use IXL Math over the long weekend on the following skills:integers, fractions, and data.

Grade 9 Science

Students are learning how to organize and classify. Today we focused on how all the animals can be classified and grouped by examining their common characteristics. The teaching slideshow will be posted in google classroom soon.

A reminder that their biomes project is due on Tuesday! A description of this assignment is posted on google classroom.
